Premier League: Arsene Wenger Leaving

Arsene Wenger Leaving Arsenal

A little over a week ago, Arsene Wenger, the manager (coach in American) of the English Premier League Team "Arsenal" announced that he would step away from the club after the 2018 season.

Wenger has been with the club since 1996 and is one of the most respected coaches in the world.

Following Arsenal on social media, many fans have began to protest Arsene Wenger's presence at the club and starting the #WengerOut to show dissatisfaction. Many but not all Arsenal fans have been unimpressed with the teams placings despite their valuable players as well as questionable player signings.

Very notable players (especially those who played under him) have made posts commemorating Wenger's run at Arsenal acknowledging the grace at which he left the club despite the fan base being bitter towards him as of late.

Arsenal very well may have been the team that got me into soccer and was one of the first jersey's I ever purchased. As an Arsenal fan it is tough to see Wenger go knowing the greatness he has achieved with the club, however, many agree that he has made a correct decision in stepping down.

Upcoming Premier League Matches (That people care about):

Liverpool vs Stoke City:   Liverpool returning off a stunning 5-2 victory over the Italian club "A.S. Roma"  in the Champion's League Semi Finals should have no problem taking on Stoke City.
Liverpool player Mohammed Salah is having an incredible season scoring 31 goals in 35 matches.

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City:     While maybe not a match everyone's exited for, how can you not be at least a little bit of a fan of Leicester City ever since their underdog story of a season back in 2015/2016. Not as much of a meaningful game, however, both teams are struggling in the Premier League.

Chelsea vs Swansea City:   Chelsea is creeping up in the premier league rankings and sitting in 5th place, are close to creeping up on the 4th place Tottenham Hotspur F.C.  Former Arsenal player Olivier Giroud has found some recent success at Swansea scoring 2 goals & assists in the last 4 games.
